I want homedesingideas.com to feel like a friendly studio – a place where ideas are welcomed, questions are encouraged, and everyone leaves with something useful. These guidelines explain how I host conversations on the site, newsletter, and social channels connected to homedesingideas.com.

Be kind and constructive

I moderate for respect, clarity, and usefulness. Disagreements are fine. Personal attacks, sarcasm aimed at people, harassment, or shaming are not. Focus feedback on the idea or method, not the person. If you would not say it to a friend in your living room, do not post it here.

Safety first

DIY can be risky. Share safety notes with your tips. Do not encourage unsafe practices. When a project involves electricity, plumbing, structural work, or hazardous materials, recommend licensed professionals and local code compliance. You are responsible for your own safety choices.

No spam or undisclosed promotion

Helpful recommendations are welcome. Repetitive self promotion, unrelated links, or affiliate link drops are not. If you represent a brand, disclose your role and email media@homedesingideas.com for partnership guidelines before posting promotional content.

Product transparency

If you received a product for free or at a discount, say so. If you work for a brand that appears in your comment, disclose that relationship. Transparency protects trust.

Privacy and personal data

Do not post someone else’s personal information. For your own privacy, avoid sharing sensitive details in public comments. For privacy requests or questions, email privacy@homedesingideas.com.

Comment moderation process

I review comments regularly. I may edit for formatting or clarity, or remove content that violates these guidelines. Repeat violations may lead to blocking.
